Remember the Sunday Gazette?
BY AWATEF · FOUNDER, LPM HOME
When I was young, I always looked forward to the Sunday gazette. Short stories, little puzzles to solve, the horoscope of course, a recipe for lunch. There was something in it for everyone at the table, and it kept our community in touch. So we made one for you: a little newspaper every Sunday morning, from our family to yours.

Practical ideas for real family life
How to Choose the Right Rug for a Child’s Room
In a kids’ room, the rug is where everything happens: playing, reading, tumbling. This is what we tell parents in the showroom.
1.Think about what it’s for. For a play corner, go big enough to sit on with a friend, at least 120 × 160 cm. Next to the bed, a small round rug is enough for warm feet in the morning.
2.Make sure it’s washable. Juice, paint and little accidents will happen. If the rug goes in the washing machine, it’s just one more load of laundry.
3.Keep it flat and non-slip. A low pile is easier to crawl on, walk on and build towers on, and easier to clean too. On tiles or wood, add a non-slip underlay.
